About

Hello, and welcome! My name is Tori, and I am so glad our paths crossed. I created Jane Not So Plain as a destination for creating the DIY life. What's that, you ask? Well, it is a life that is created using the skills & abilities we have within ourselves.

Most of us don't have the resources to hire personal trainers/chefs, stylists, interior decorators, etc., so we are going to make the best of what we've got. And, let me tell you, it's going to be an amazing ride, doing it DIY.

On this blog, you will see product reviews, tutorials, a glimpse into my daily life, gift giving inspiration and advice, and so much more!

A Little About Me...

I am a twenty-something woman enjoying my journey in adulthood. I am a Digital Marketing Specialist by day and an avid crafter by night. I love to do all-things crafty and trying new techniques, like wood burning and foiling. The majority of things I make are created for someone else and given as gifts, which I love!

My Inspiration...

I got the inspiration for this blog from a long line of strong, amazing women who all share "Jane" as part of their name. My grandma, Betty Jane, my mom, Doris Jane, and my sister, Sarah Jane are three of the most wonderful women you will ever meet. They, among other things, are my inspiration, and I am so lucky to have them as role models.

I am also inspired by my niece, Lila, my nephew, Isaac, my best friend, Andrea, and my boyfriend, Kyra. I am sure you will get to know them as you join me on this journey.

More About Me...

I am always drawn to blogs when I get to take a peek inside the lives of the people writing them, so I started a series called, "More About Me Mondays." Every once in awhile, I will post a few tidbits about myself, so you can get to know me a little better.

Thanks again for stopping by, and I hope you enjoy what you find!
